Climbing Larkya Peak in Nepal

Climbing Larkya Peak in Nepal is one of the great option for the climbers during the beautiful Manaslu Circuit Trek.

There are two peaks that can be climbed, when you say climbing Larkya Peak in Nepal. You do have the possibility to climb Thulo Larkya (6249m) or Sano Larkya (5807m), or you can climb both peaks depending upon your schedule.

Sano Larkya can be climbed in a long day from the base camp. If you are looking to climb Thulo Larkya Peak, you will need to setup a high camp. The best options is to setup high camp and climb both peaks.

We follow the classic trekking route of Manaslu Circuit Trek and continue toward the Larkya La Pass. The basecamp is just below the Larkya La Pass.

This trip is a great combination of both climbing and trekking in one of the beautiful region of Nepal. If you are someone who love to trek in a quite place and want to avoid climbing the crowded peak like Island Peak in Everest, then Larkya Peak in Nepal is one of the best trips you should look forward to.

The hiking in this route offers an exclusive opportunity to experience a reasonably “untouched “region of Nepal. The regions & villages through which we trek are predominantly Buddhist, the remote areas of surrounding Manaslu base camp are amongst Nepal’s most beautiful and with restricted access, and we see only a limited number of trekkers.

This widespread and strenuous trek is manifestly rewarded with some of the grandeur mountain views amalgamated with the rich cultural heritage and vivid biological diversity as it rotates the entire Manaslu range.
