Itinerary- Makalu to Everest via 3 Cols

This trek follows a section of the Great Himalaya Trail. The trail takes you from Tumlingtar in the steamy lowlands near the Arun River over the Shipton La.

Then, we head toward the remote and beautiful Barun river valley before arriving to Makalu Base Camp. From here we cross Sherpani Pass over to Baruntse Base Camp, then cross West Col to Panch Pokhari followed by the Amphu Laptsa into the Everest.

The logistical challenges to organise a trek in such a remote area is huge. The safety of the porters and the entire team has to be highly considered.  Thus, we need to have the experienced Sherpas and strong high altitude porters in the team in order to safely complete this trek.

The previous trekking experience in the high altitude and basic mountaineering skills is must for this journey. There will be a lot of passages where we will be using fixed ropes and roped group travel on glaciers.
