Rolwaling Tashi Lapcha Pass

Rolwaling Tashi Lapcha Pass

Discover the two beautiful regions of Nepal, Rolwaling and Everest, in this Rolwaling Tashi Lapcha Pass Trek.

Rolwaling Himal, situated at the foot of Gaurisankar massif, is one of the authentic and remote region of Nepal. Whether it be the stories about the yetis or the history of the Sherpa’s forefathers, the remote valley of Rolwaling has always been linked.

Despite its beauty, the Rolwaling valley is very less visited in comparison to Everest. The remoteness, access and logistics has to be well considered when it comes to organizing the trek in this region.

During this trek, you will not only see the cultural and landscapes difference, but also the development & the lifestyle of people between Rolwaling and Everest.

We pass through the beautiful rice fields to the remote valley of Na, where the Tibetan villages face the snow-capped peaks. From here Tibet is very close.

Tashi Lapcha Pass is the gateway to enter the famous Everest Region from the Rolwaling. The views over Everest, Ama Dablam and Lhotse is just breathtaking.

However, crossing this pass is not as easy the Thorong La Pass in Annapurna region. We recommend the trekkers with previous experience in high altitude to attempt for this trek.

The climbers do have the possibility to climb Parchemo Peak (6272m) along with this trek.

You will need to take the special permit to enter in Rolwaling valley. You can read more about the special trekking permit here: Trekking Permit

If you are looking to trek in the remote areas of Nepal, Rolwaling Tashi Lapcha Pass is the great option.
