Island Peak Climbing
Island Peak Climbing
Are you new to the mountaineering? Then, Island Peak is the ideal choice to start with and a wonderful opportunity to experience the high altitude climbing. This will allow you to improve your mountaineering skills to new heights.
Also known as Imja Tse, this is one of the must climbed peak in Nepal. This does not mean that is easy to climb. It is a steep hike and climb with mixed scrambling, steep rocky scree, crossing glaciers with ladders and a steep head wall all the way to summit.
You do require basic mountaineering skills to climb this peak and one must be well prepared for it. The views from the summit are superb including the south face of Lhotse and Ama Dablam.
This stunning trip in Everest Region, will lead you to many different parts of Khumbu valley. We will visit the beautiful Gokyo Lake, where we have the possibility to do side trips and we will be following the paths of Everest three high pass trek, before we head to the Island Peak Base camp.
This will allow you to well acclimatise before you head for the summit. Our team of Sherpa’s will provide you the basic trainings and check the gears before heading to summit.
